Apart from the culture curry and the rural drive, Ahmedabad students also experienced and relived one of the greatest successful revolutionary stories in India, when they got an opportunity to visit the manufacturing unit of Amul and the corporate office of GCMMF. Students were taken to a museum, which has been dedicated to the Dairy industry, and it was established way back in the year 2000 by Mrs. Molly Kurien, to mark the 80th birthday of Dr. Vergese Kurien, who is known as the father of ‘ White Revolution’ in India. In the museum, there is a wonderful Auditorium where students were shown a film on ‘White Revolution’ in India. Students visited the milk processing plant also. They were shown the entire automated production process of Butter, Ghee, Milk Powder, Ice-cream, and Cheese, to name of few.

It was almost dusk when the students set off for a village in Anand district, to see the milk collection process by the co-operatives. It was really a magnificent view when all the farmers started gathering and pouring milk into a big container. All in all, the trip was packed with full of fun and learning.
